IQS is now a division of Degree Controls, Inc. of Milford, New Hampshire. The acquisition will be invisible to our customers since operations, personnel, facilities, and our commitment to customer service will remain the same. Furthermore, IQS will now have greater resources to improve and expand our service offerings. Read below for all the details. Additional news for this month includes a new case study on thermal design of a rear door rack for AMCO Engineering of Illinois. This case study demonstrates how AMCO avoided expensive engineering changes by attacking thermal design at the early stages of product development. Last but not least, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season and a successful 2006. With our new ownership investment, we look forward to continuing our growth well into the future.

IQS is pleased to offer a new case study on the web site. "Thermal Design of a Rear Door Rack" discusses how IQS designed a universal rear door to fit 2 different rack sizes for AMCO Engineering of Illinois. This challenging thermal design for data center products helped AMCO get to market faster with improved thermal performance. By incorporating the thermal work at the beginning of the product development process, product delays and engineering changes were avoided.
